UCF rocks Miss Florida 2010!

Miss UCF 2010 Sara York was named a Semifinalist in the Miss Florida 2010 Pageant last Saturday. Congratulations Sara for making UCF proud! Fellow UCF Knight Jaclyn Raulerson was crowned Miss Florida 2010.

Five UCF students and two alumni were contestants in this year's Miss Florida pageant including Miss UCF 2009 Dasha Gonzalez, Vicky DiSanto, Kristina Janolo, Danielle Mueller and Tara Szczepanski. Miss Florida 2009 Rachael Todd is an alumnus of UCF. Great job everyone! Way to represent!

Pegasus Palooza, Oh My!

PEGASUS PALOOZA! CAB Speakers Director Steven Natale is sporting a Grown Ups tee for the new Adam Sandler/Chris Rock movie that just came out.

Steven is also the director of UCF's Welcome Week, Pegasus Palooza. Check out their website. CAB will be holding a bunch of cool events throughout the week in the fall including a comedy show, a huge concert in the UCF arena, a free movie screening of Death at a Funeral, and a White Affair VIP Pool Party.

PS: CAB Cinema gets all kinds of fun movie promo stuff for UCF students including free movie tickets! Tons of students got tickets from CAB to see a special screening of Grown Ups before it hit theaters last week.

PSS: The free screening of She's Out of My League last night was a smash success. Thanks to everyone who came out. Old School will be showing on July 6 in the Key West Ballroom at the Student Union. Don't forget!
